Join me for my very first 8v8 match in MechWarrior Online! 🚀 I want to hear your thoughts on the new 8v8 Quickplay format - drop them in the comments below! From the few games I’ve played so far, I’m enjoying it. The matches are not that far different from normal 12v12 games. But in some cases the 8v8 format does feels more cooperative and teamwork-focused / dependant. Rotations seem more deliberate instead of the usual “brainless NASCAR,” and teams stick together much tighter it seems. Overall, it’s been a refreshing temporary change - and the shorter queue times are definitely a bonus. I definitely could have done more damage this match if I closed the distance better, moving towards the enemies I was shooting. But atlas, still a bit rusty in some areas 😄. REMEMBER... Plenty more fun games on the way! -------------- THE MODS I USE: https://next.nexusmods.com/profile/mr... -------------- #MWO (#MechWarriorOnline) by Piranha Games. Free to play at http://mwomercs.com. MechWarrior Online is a free-to-play vehicular combat video game, officially launched during September 2013 by Piranha Games for Microsoft Windows. The game takes place within the larger #BattleTech universe. In MechWarrior: Online, players takes the role of a ""MechWarrior"" who pilots large bipedal combat vehicles known as BattleMechs (Mech for short). Players can customize their BattleMech with an array of weapons and equipment, and engage in 12 versus 12 battles, the outcome of which earns the players experience and c-bills for future BattleMech purchases and customization. There are currently seven game modes that involve protecting and attacking a single base (Assault), capturing and holding several points (Conquest), take and hold the center of the map (Domination), attacking a space defense system (Siege/Counter-Attack), protecting and attacking field bases with turrets and walls spread across the map (Incursion), and team death-match (Skirmish).
