She teaches both writing and public speaking courses. Kelli studied communications at Cedarville University, religious education at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (MRE), and creative writing at Roosevelt University (MFA). She is the author of several books including Pierced and Embraced, a reflection on how Jesus’ interacted with women in the New Testament. Kelli and her husband, Peter often speak at marriage, college, and young adult retreats. They are parents of two children through adoption and enjoy decorating their Craftsman house.
