Burnt Toast Creative is the working alias for Scott Martin, a Canadian–based illustrator. Scott's work has been described as "playful cynicism," mixing bright, fun designs with sometimes dark undertones. Scott approaches his art with a goal in mind but always stays open to the idea that something totally unexpected could happen once he gets drawing. Collective Arts was built on the idea that creativity fuels creativity and Scott demonstrates this in his daily work. ⁠ RESIDENT ARTIST PROGRAM⁠ Art connects us. The Collective Arts Resident Artist Program invites artists to collaborate with us in their home cities to create art, build community, and inspire creativity on a global scale. Our Resident Artist Program looks to create paying opportunities for artists, document and promote the process, and build lasting relationships in arts communities around the globe. We believe that the more creativity there is in the world, the better, and we’d like to introduce you to the people behind this creative movement.
