I took the liberty to record it in my studio like a tribute to one my all-times favorite artists. I strongly suggest to listen to the full album, which I consider an absolute masterpiece. The drummer in the original track is Shannon Forrest, one of my favorite today session drummers. He recorded drums in the all album and also synthesizers and bass synth in different tracks, playing percussions as well and designing the drum loops. With him the album features some of the best session players of today In this song I didn’t make a complete copy of the original drum track, but I played my own interpretation; on the other side I tried to feel as much as possible the original vibe of the tune and its groove and tried to respect as much as possible the native portamento of the song.
