THE TRAITOR WITHIN US ~ Odette Audition

This is my audition for KiandraChan's 'The traitor within us' roleplay contest:    • [CLOSED] THE TRAITOR WITHIN US ● NEW N/DIS...   These 2 weeks were crazy. Seriously. I spent all my free time editing this. Usually, people do auditions for a minute or two, but not me. I was so sure that my video will not be good enough that I tried not to delay individualizing Odette's character. Also, I focused more on Odette herself, her personality, relationships and backstory, so there are not so many different characters. And I want to complain in quality of the Swan Princess - it is not possible to find it in real HD. It upsets me. The same as Sony Vegas and Adobe After Effects. I had a great pain with masks, because I had to do all of them on the spot and Adobe After Effects has problems with intermediate frames...? I do not know how to call them, but they are blurred and I had to cut them out over and over again. Sony Vegas crashed a few times and it didn't see some errors in footage. Still. PERSONALITY Odette is a lady of the noble house. Her marriage was arranged, but it does not mean that it was so bad. Actually, Derek and Odette had some kind of crush into each other at first, but then their relationships went cold. Derek just cannot take his "little wife seriously". For him she is just a precious little thing. She is beautiful, he can proudly show her on the occasions, she is mother of their daughter (but still he does not hair an heir) and that's it. Odette and Derek respect each other as lord and lady, husband and wife, but Odette is not comfortable with him and his constant changes of mood. Odette hates magical people, because they almost destroyed her family during the Great War. Only Odette's great-grandmother Eleanor managed to survive, but she could not restore family's wealth and influence. Odette takes it to heart because Eleanor protected magical people and she payed with her family's life. On the other hand, Odette is not cruel or evil. She cares about justice even if sometimes she can be too harsh, impatient or biased. Like every woman she needs some love and understanding. STORY Odette is upset about the death of the king. For her he was a good and honourable man and she is scared because of magic's return. Odette believes that Tulio deserves an execution and she wants come and see it. Derek is against her intention because such things are not appropriate for noble ladies, but he is so bored of stories about Odette's great-grandmother, so he gave up. They came to the plaza together, but Odette is nervous and rushes Derek. He does not care about it much, but suddenly Tulio cuts his soul into pieces, but I focused on Odette at this moment. Odette see some kind of vision or flashback about her great-grandmother and how her father was killed. He was not a king, but some important lord. Derek betrayes Odette, because now she is like a witch for him and he does no want to deal with her anymore. She barely escapes, suddenly see a horse (what a luck, and what a poor colouring of mine) and rode into the forest where see another survivors (if you are attentive, you may see Mulan among them. And yeah, I imagined this scene like a campfire). Odette is confused about Derek's betrayal and she afraid that maybe he is right about her.
