Whole-school guidance approach to career education

In this webinar the participants are introduced to the role schools play in providing students with access to appropriate guidance to assist them in their educational and career choices. Teachers are equipped with an array of resources that they can use in their classroom to support their students in making informed decisions when it comes to their career while acknowledging their strengths, weaknesses and relevant work-related skills. Special emphasis is placed on the whole-school guidance approach, and a useful framework is presented and illustrated. Finally, the webinar offers practical examples of how to integrate career education into day-to-day teaching. Speaker Panel: Daniela Bunea, has been a teacher of English as a Foreign Language and a class teacher at a secondary school in Sibiu (Romania) for 26 years now. She is an eTwinning Ambassador and a National Geographic Certified Educator, and has been embedding career education in her lessons for many years. eTwinning and National Geographic projects and collaboration have supported her in teaching her students the ropes of effectively turning passion, hard work, skill, focus, and having great ideas into successful careers.
