Eighth video from my wild Alaska winter truck camping adventure. Starting at –21°F (–29°C) in Eureka, I deal with ice inside the rooftop tent, frozen straps, wolf tracks right near camp (2–3 days old), and decide against snowshoeing when it hits 0°F. Drive the empty Glenn Highway toward Tok, fuel stops in Glennallen & Delta Junction, more wildlife sign (moose, deer, wolves), cook freeze-dried biscuits & gravy inside to stay safe, enjoy a fire and cigar under the full moon, then set up another camp near a frozen river/lake at –2°F. Gear struggles (Webasto heater, MSR stove in extreme cold), truck sensor weirdness from exhaust, and honest fatigue after weeks of this.
