2025 LCMS District Convention video

In this video created for the 2025 LCMS district conventions, Dr. Thomas J. Egger, president of Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, and Dr. Jon S. Bruss, president of Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne, Ind., share how seminary formation equips pastors and deaconesses to be “immovable in faith, abounding in God’s work” (based on 1 Cor. 15:58) and how congregations and districts can partner with the seminaries to encourage those with the skills suited for ministry to consider seminary preparation. Seminary students share stories of those who encouraged them to pursue ministry, how their time at the seminary has prepared them for ministry and what they are looking forward to as they prepare to serve God’s people and reach the lost with the Good News.
