Every Open Mic in Town At the end of 2023, while looking back over the year, I wrote ‘Every Open Mic in Town’. At the beginning of 2023 I made a pact with myself, and a conscious effort, to not sit at home every night watching television but to get out and become part of the Open Mic scene in my home city, Norwich. I knew that the city had a rich and cultured history of music and so with some apprehension I started to attend these music events on a weekly basis. It has not always been easy and often challenging however hugely rewarding and I have met some amazing musicians and gained a lot of confidence in performing live. This journey also took me to the USA where I performed in San Francisco and Los Angeles. This is the second song taken from the new EP ‘ My Limerence’.
