When knitting tubular projects, the beginning is often the most difficult as you need to join the knitting in the round. No matter if you are using double-pointed or circular needles, you often end up twisting your stitches, you may create gaps, holes, or jogs, and things may initially not look perfect. This tutorial is meant to show you a couple of simple techniques to fix these problems. First, I'll show you a super invisible method without a gap, jogs or holes for dpns, and in the second part I'll show you the very same method using circular needles and magic loop. On top of that, I show you how to join in the round a bit later and after having knit 3-4 rounds in case you always end up twisting your cast on edge. And at the very end of the video I have two tips for fixing gaps by grafting stitches and a very neat option to join in the round that also weaves in the tail in the same breath.
