Magicians and illusionists around the world are becoming more and more popular, and increasingly daring too. Meet Dean Hezi from Tel Aviv in Israel. This is the stunt he displayed in public hanging solely by his hand attached to a wall at a Tel Aviv shopping centre. Illusionist and endurance artist Hezi Dean appeared to be floating in the air and shocked hundreds of pedestrians who gathered on the ground. Dean was hanging from the wall for 5 hours in a stunt that got Tel Aviv pedestrians speculating. "I think this guy's hand is like not his real hand it's glued to the wall and there is a part of his body that is attached to it, so this is how we see him hanged," said Tel Aviv resident Ben Gur-Levi. After the stunt, Dean said: "(This trick is) part of PR for a new show. As a person who did all sorts of crazy things, this time I said no extreme, no death, just something cool that is magic, a trick, but that will make people think if it is real or not real and this how it came out," In 2011, Dean broke U.S. magician David Blaine's endurance record from 2002, after standing on a nine story high pylon for a total of 35 hours. In 2010 Dean was endured for 66 hours inside an ice cube, breaking Blaine's 63 hour achievement from the year 2000. But for Dean, it was not about breaking records but rather about ending the stunt safely.
