For this project I was inspired by the delicious and abundant figs that grow in and around the Mediterranean coast and the Black Sea. I wanted to create a sense of spontaneity in the picture so it was done in one afternoon, only waiting for the masking fluid and some of the elements to dry before continuing. Using a limited palette means working with just a few colors, which helps maintain harmony and makes the painting process easier. Despite the simplicity, you can achieve a wide range of tones and depth, especially when painting the rich hues of figs and their lush green leaves. Using bold colors, your painting will have a dynamic and lively quality that captures the essence of summer figs. Select colors that complement each other and reflect the natural vibrancy of summer figs.
