Probably Mozart's most famous piano sonata, he himself never published this sonata but added it to his catalogue on June 26, 1788. It was first seen in print in 1805, about fourteen years after the composer's death. This sonata is sometimes referred to as "Sonata facile" or "Sonata semplice", and Mozart even described this sonata as "For beginners". This is the second andante movement, probably the least popular and most underrated of the three movements.
