Therefore, the ophthalmologist has at his disposal, machines that are increasingly perfect for in-depth diagnostics of the anterior and posterior segments. Any patient undergoing surgery must first undergo thorough diagnostics with all available machines. You can no longer leave out anything, both from a medical-legal point of view and from a diagnostic point of view for the patient, that is, you cannot think of performing a cataract surgery without having performed all the preoperative examinations.
