Pumpkin Pecan Cobbler that will AMAZE your Taste Buds! | Thanksgiving Recipes Pumpkin Pecan Cobbler Ingredients: For the Pumpkin Layer: 1 cup + 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour 2 teaspoons baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 2/3 cup sugar 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves 1/2 cup pumpkin puree 1/4 cup + 1 tablespoon milk 1/4 cup butter melted 1 teaspoon maple syrup For the Topping: 1/2 cup granulated sugar 1/2 cup brown sugar either light or dark 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1/3 cup pecans chopped 1 1/2 cups hot water Optional: Maple whipped cream for serving Whip 1/2 cup heavy cream with 1 tsp maple syrup Directions: Preheat the oven to 350. Grease a 2-quart casserole dish lightly. In a medium-sized mixing bowl, sift and combine the all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and cloves. Add the pumpkin puree, milk, melted butter, and maple syrup. Mix until just combined. Transfer the batter to the greased casserole dish and spread it evenly. For the topping: Mix together the sugar, brown sugar, and cinnamon in a small bowl. Add the chopped pecans into this sugar mixture. Evenly distribute this topping over the batter in the casserole dish. Carefully pour the hot water over the topping. Don't stir! Place the casserole dish into the preheated oven and bake for 40 minutes, or until the center has set. After removing from the oven, allow the cobbler to cool for at least 5 minutes before serving. Top with maple whipped cream!
