We finally decided to stay at the Upper Shunda Creek Campground. It is definitely a clean, well cared for private family campground operated by Linda & Gordan Latter. Now this area has signs indicating that the area is known for Sasquatch and that we needed to respect their territory. We bravely went for a nature trail hike not knowing if we would run into them. Personally I question their existence although some claim to have seen them.
