More than 220 participants gathered in Salzburg to discuss the latest findings in the field of torsional vibrations. 15 companies used the exhibition held additionally to the Symposium to present their products and services. The participants, ranging from torsional vibration experts, to consultants, coupling and damper manufacturers, to classification societies, enjoyed a very diverse program. The goal of the event was not only to learn about new developments in torsional vibration research, but also to encourage and strengthen the discourse between torsional vibration experts, which is of great importance for the torsional vibration community. Due to the positive feedback, the next Torsional Vibration Symposium has already been scheduled for May 11th to May 13th 2022 in Salzburg, Austria.
