Anti-Corruption Bureau officials have arrested a deputy transport commissioner in Andhra Pradesh after conducting raids that unearthed assets worth a whopping Rs 800 crores. A Mohan, the IAS officer, has been remanded for two weeks by the Vijayawada ACB court. Mohan had reportedly floated eight companies in the name of his elder daughter Tejasri and the officials found that the offices of these companies could not be traced as per the addresses in the documents According to a Deccan Chronicle report, since Thursday, ACB officials were carrying out raids on the houses of A Mohan in nine places in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.
