For decades, he’s been a powerful voice for SHARP (Skinheads Against Racial Prejudice), spreading its message of unity and equality around the world. Roddy has played in numerous influential bands, including Section 20, Insanity Squad, The D Teez, Tighten Up, and Personality Crisis. He’s also the frontman of the iconic band The Oppressed. In this episode, we talk about Roddy’s beginnings in the Welsh punk scene, the first time he saw The Oppressed live, and how he eventually joined the band. He also shares stories from his trip to New York City, discovering the SHARP movement, and his early efforts to spread it across Europe. We dive into how he sees the subculture evolving today — and much more.
