El Ávila National Park is much more than a mountain for the contemplation of Caracas residents and the amazement of visitors, for exercise or for breathing fresh air. It is the home of hundreds of Venezuelans who live that privilege every day. They wake up looking at Caracas or the sea. They fill themselves with healthy oxygen while listening to the birds. And it's not just those who live in Galipán and its surroundings. There are other towns. Other less traveled entrances. One of them is through Puerta de Caracas, crossing La Pastora, with its houses that scream personality. Stepping on the stones that the Spanish placed centuries ago, when they crossed that jungle from the sea to reach that genius that is the valley of Caracas; for that moment a perfect hallucination of river, mountains, trees and privileged climate. Well, we arrived at those towns led by Dorian Banezca, the great guide from @acamparavila, determined to open new routes in the mountain that he has made his own. He convinced several residents to open their homes to accommodate the visit.
