Sino-Indian War, (October 20–November 20, 1962), conflict between India and China, centred primarily on the disputed Aksai Chin region along those countries’ borders. Indian prisoners Of 1962 war did not want to leave China after enjoying very high standards of hospitality. Fearing for their lives, the Indian soldiers had surrendered with folded hands but only to discover that the “Chinese were not demons”, they did not tie them up, or insulted them; rather offered the captured soldiers biscuits and water.
