This weekend was spent in the rejuvenated city that is Bilbao. Having studied there in the early 90's I was impressed to see the incredible changes that have happened in this city. Only 1.5 hours flight from London to Bilbao, the city is a perfect short break location. Located at the mouth of the Basque Country surrounded by rolling hills, Bilbao is one of Spain’s most exciting cities. Bilbao is the largest city in Northern Spain enjoying stunning architecture, incredible dining and of course, the Guggenheim Bilbao.
