This app: • Does NOT sell Scripture • Does NOT charge users • Does NOT include paywalls • Exists to serve, guide, and support people respectfully CORE EXPERIENCE (MOST IMPORTANT) On the homepage, place a large, centered input box that asks: “How are you feeling today?” Users must be able to: • Type freely in their own words (example: “I feel anxious and overwhelmed”) • OR select from suggested emotions such as: • Peace • Anxiety • Stress • Fear • Grief • Anger • Hope • Gratitude • Loneliness When a user submits their feeling, the app should intelligently generate: • 3–5 relevant Bible verses • A short, gentle devotional-style reflection that connects Scripture to their emotion • A 1–2 sentence encouragement The tone must be: • Calm • Compassionate • Biblically grounded • Supportive • Never preachy or judgmental The app must be able to interpret any emotion, even if it is not one of the preset options. FULL BIBLE ACCESS Include a dedicated Bible section where users can: • Select any of the 66 books • Choose any chapter • Navigate freely forward and backward • Search by: • Book name • Chapter • Verse (example: John 3:16) • Keywords At the top of the Bible section, include a translation selector allowing users to instantly switch between: • KJV • NKJV • NIV • ESV • Amplified • NLT • The Message Switching translations should keep the user on the same book and chapter. Use the Bible.com API to display real, verified Scripture text. I will provide the API key. SCRIPTURE BY TOPIC Create topic-based pages with at least 10 relevant verses per topic. Topics should include: • Peace • Anxiety • Healing • Forgiveness • Strength • Faith • Hope • Guidance • Fear • Rest Each topic page should include: • Real Scripture verses • A short devotional reflection • Clean, distraction-free formatting DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT Include a Daily Encouragement section that: • Rotates Scripture automatically • Displays a short reflection • Allows users to bookmark verses DEVOTIONAL CONTENT Include devotional content inside the app. Create: • A 30-day devotional • Each day should include: • Title • Central Scripture • Reflection • Short prayer • Optional “Peace Challenge” One devotional theme should be titled: “Peace in Chaos” (Chaos is a theme, not the app name.)
