Deep in the forests of Eastern Finland, silence falls, and the wild slowly emerges. From late afternoon until nightfall, we settle into small wooden hides, waiting patiently as brown bears roam the clearings and wolves from the local pack pass through the landscape. Sometimes they appear just metres away, offering rare and powerful moments of true wilderness observation. This 6-day expedition combines overnight wildlife hides, long Nordic summer light and the chance to observe some of Europe’s most iconic predators in their natural habitat. Between hide sessions, we stay in a former lumberjack lodge beside a Finnish lake, sharing meals, stories and moments of calm, with the option to enjoy a traditional sauna after long nights in the wild.
