Sonic 2 - Chemical Plant Zone Alternate Route: No Chemical Bath

Hey everyone. A friend of mine was telling me how much they hated the Chemical Plant Zone in Sonic 2. particularly Act 2 where the polluted water rises up towards the end of the act, and you have to jump up through the maze before you drown. Being an avid Sonic 2 player (having been the very first game I ever owned), I asked him "Uh... You know about the secret alternate route right?" He had no idea, and after some searching on Google, it appears almost no one had found this little secret back in the '90's when Sonic 2 was out. So without further adieu, here is my playthrough of the zone using said alternate route, which skips the chemical bath entirely, and drops you right at the Zone's boss. Poor Tails... He tried so hard to keep up with me.
