Patapat Bridge Ilocos Norte Philippines - Pagudpud Road Trip 2021 (Part 4) |

The Patapat Viaduct or Patapat Bridge makes up one of the most scenic roads in the Philippines. Based in Pagudpud, the premier tourist destination in the northwestern Philippine province of Ilocos Norte, Patapat Viaduct opened in 1986 and from end to end, the bridge appears like a concrete snake hugging the northern terminus of the Cordillera Mountain Range running north and south through Northern Luzon and the rocky azure seashore below, specifically named Pasaleng Bay. The Patapat Viaduct was designed to avoid the common occurrence of road accidents due to landslides and serves as a vital link between the provinces of Ilocos Norte and Cagayan Valley. Today, the Patapat Bridge is a popular Instagram stop and it's not uncommon to see cars parked alongside the roads and families posing for photos.
