November 2014 BATTLE Loot Crate Unboxing (Loot Drop on Geek.com)

Another month, another Loot Crate. Loot Crate is a monthly subscription service that gives you a gift box of random nerd stuff like toys and t-shirts for $20 shipped ($13.37 plus shipping. Get it? It’s elite, like Razor and Blade!), and I’ve been a member for over a year. This month is “BATTLE” themed, which means it’s more Capcomlicious than Capcom itself has been lately. It’s a great haul, especially if you can forgive a few hack memetic concepts. There’s a t-shirt showing a half-pirate-half-ninja face in a word cloud style like the shirt that came with the ADVENTURE Loot Crate, and it looks nice enough and feels soft enough that I can forgive the boring pirates-versus-ninjas concept. The crate itself can turn into a little diorama, with platforms that fold down that let you put up little cut-out paper stand figures in the included magazine.
