Biking ACROSS Hong Kong | 60km from Tuen Mun to Sha Tin

We biked across Hong Kong on the New Territories 60 kilometers cycling path from Tuen Mun in the east to Sha Tin in the west. The path takes you across many uncovered gems across Hong Kong, and gives you a real taste of Hong Kong life outside the bustle of the city areas. Biking across Hong Kong on the New Territories cycling path takes you across many areas like Sheung Shui, Tai Po, and even close to the Shenzhen border. The trail was flat for about 99% of the trip, however there were loads of breaks in the trail for road crossings and other random things. As well, the trail can get a bit confusing with the red and green sections, so it's really handy to always have access to the map. To go on this biking adventure yourself, it's possible to rent bikes in both Tuen Mun and Sha Tin, and leave them on the other end of the trip so you don't have to loop back. For the day, the bike rentals were about $150 HKD, with around $20 extra to return them to a different point. Overall, it was a great day exploring more of the unseen part of Hong Kong, and for a pretty cheap price as well. I would definitely recommend this day trip adventure to anyone!
