Our 2017 travel trailer fresh water tank supports that came with the trailer from the factory were not adequate and one of the support bars bent 1 1/2" - 2" from carrying a load of water just 6 miles. Also I needed to add additional support to the tank once I fixed this problem since the tank was sagging when it had water in it. The repairs were done with steel and bolts and no welding was required which was relatively easy to do in a couple hours. I hope this video is helpful. Correction: In the video I mentioned that the angle iron used from side to side was 1 1/2" X 1/8" but what I used was 1 1/2" X 3/16" angle iron.
