You may have heard about the 'DevaCurl Scandal’. Maybe not. Thousands of people with curly hair have come forward to report serious damage such as hair loss, scalp issues, and hair dryness. It’s been the subject of YouTube videos and major news outlets, including NPR and GMA. A class action lawsuit was initiated in mid-February 2020. In this video, I describe my experiences with DevaCurl products and stylists. To be fair, I present Deva Curl’s position and official statements.
