February 15, 2026: Yesterday, I got up a little earlier with the intention of going for a walk and watching the sunrise, because luckily yesterday was a sunny day. Of course, I also hoped to see some animals. And I was indeed lucky. As I walked past the field, I watched the sun slowly rise above a thick wall of clouds. Shortly afterwards, I saw many cranes flying by and landing on the field across the road. I also saw a small group of deer and geese in the fields. The cranes were calling loudly and more and more cranes joined them, forming a large group. Everything was bathed in beautiful morning light. Later, I saw birds of prey, crows, and a large flock of geese. On my way back through the forest, I saw a beautiful black woodpecker and some jays. There was still some snow in the forest, which looked beautiful in the sunlight. On my way back, I also saw a magpie, pigeons, and a blue tit. At home, I watched birds in the garden and at our feeding station, including a great spotted woodpecker, a robin, blue tits, great tits, and sparrows.
