Alexandra Hospital has set up a new specialist dental clinic dedicated to providing faster and more accessible subsidised and specialised care to seniors above the age of 65. Advancing age which brings on other complex medical conditions, long-term chronic diseases and also physical and cognitive impairment such as dementia, may have put many of these seniors at risk for a number of oral health problems. Referrals to this new clinic are through polyclinics, CHAS GPs, and other healthcare institutions, and walk-ins as private patients.
