A Waikato businessman is continuing to promote and sell chlorine dioxide bleach as a 'miracle' cure for 95 percent of the world's diseases, including Covid-19. Roger Blake is rubbishing claims that the chemical is dangerous and should not be taken. This despite Medsafe warning that drinking the bleach can have "dangerous and potentially life-threatening side effects". It comes as the US Food and Drug Administration today withdrew the emergency use of hydroxychloroquine to treat hospitalised Covid-19 patients because it carries too many risks. Reporter Susan Strongman and visual journalist Dan Cook filed this report.
