Beauty and the Beast Inspired coat rack- Hand forged blacksmith Christmas order unique custom build Hello all and welcome back to Empty Pockets Ironworks. For this weeks upload I was tasked with creating a coat and hat rack utilizing a client supplied pole stand. The stand was in pretty rough shape and I was given creative freedom based on the clients likes and wishes. I decided to run with a beauty and the beat theme due to the clients interest in my roses and the overall design requirements with a flat base and 3 posts to capture ball caps on top. in the span of 1 week I have gotten 2 severe migraines. these debilitating headaches are some of the worst I have ever had to endure and aren't a common occurrence for me. No rhyme or reason as to why they have decided to attack me in the way that they have. With suffering from the migraine, and filming/fabricating the later part of the build became more and more difficult and unfortunately there are some forging aspects that I left out but are pretty straight forward. I really hope that everyone has a wonderful holiday as we reflect on this crazy mixed up year I have to say my blessings have far outweighed all the negatives, we were able to open a store downtown, our family /community has grown, and overall we've had the greatest Christmas holiday imaginable in recent years. I guess all in all 2020 hasnt been that bad for us. If things ever do go back to normal it gives me a sense of reassurance knowing that if we can survive as a small business in these hard times than we will continue to flourish in the future. I wish to thank everyone that watches the channel new and old, you guys are so much appreciated with the compliments, comments and questions, YouTube in that aspect has greatly become a joy for me as a craftsman and this platform has allowed us to grow our brand even further.
