🛵 Sunrise Scramble | Mud, Mayhem & Motorcycle Philosophy In this follow-up to my “Why We Ride” video, I join a sunrise adventure ride from Randburg to Parys via the Vredefort Dome — a 180km stretch of South African backroads, deep sand, unexpected puddles, and life lessons. This wasn’t just a ride; it was a reminder that motorcycles are more than machines — they’re mirrors. And sometimes, they reflect you flat on your back in a mud puddle. Twice. Along the way, I explore the pros and cons of riding in a group versus going solo. There’s safety in numbers — and usually someone with a tow rope — but there’s also a certain rhythm you lose in a convoy. Two incidents, plenty of laughs, some bruised egos, and one very wet pair of boots later, we landed in Parys for brunch, slightly muddier and maybe even slightly wiser.
