A Slaughter on St. Anns Avenue: A Triple Homicide & Tangled Web of Suspects

The cold blooded triple homicide of 3 teenagers shocked The South Bronx neighborhood of Mott Haven. On May 18th 1992, 15 year olds Damien Salgado and Danny Santiago and 16 year old Otis Blair were found executed by gunshots inside an apartment at 350 St. Anns Avenue. The investigation into their murders resulted in a tangled web of suspects, accusations and questionable convictions. Two 18 year olds named Pedro "Jungo" Rosario and Cory Jackson were arrested for the crimes; but stories from two alleged bystanders raised doubts about who was the real culprit behind the murders and what the true motives were. When you add corrupt detective Mark Tebbens into the investigation, it added even more doubts into the equation. This true crime story in the hood, includes convictions and unsolved matters which leaves some lingering questions about exactly what occurred in this triple murder.
