In today’s adventure, we journey 500 km across Vietnam’s southeast coast. We explore the once mighty Champa kingdom that once occupied this land. We hitchhike with a lovely family who take us to the city of Phan Rang. From there, we venture into the surrounding villages and meet incredibly kind locals. I get my haircut for just $1, and we even herd sheep in one of the most bizarre experiences. We visit the Cham temples that made up the last city of the Champa kingdom, Panduranga. We then take the longest stretch of the journey to the coastal city of Quy Nhơn, and from there it’s one final bike ride to the old Champa capital, Vijaya.
