Click to watch the video now to find out what this unique vaporizer has to offer. Design. This vaporizer looks like very rugged and outdoorsy. It's about the size of the Pax and feels good on the hand. The Vapium Summit is mostly made of plastic and the quality of the device is just ok. The vape is definitely designed for the adventurer. We give the Summit an 8.5/10 for its design. Battery Life. The Summit's battery life is about the same as the Pax giving you almost an hour of battery life. We think that if this vape is designed for outdoorsy people, we don't understand why it didn't have a longer battery or a replaceable one. One nice feature the Summit have is that it can be used while its charging. The charging port is a real pain to get open and we found ourselves reaching for a tool to pop it open everytime. We give this unit a 7/10 for battery life. Flavor. This is probably the least desirable quality of the Summit. It has a small bowl made of metal along with a metal pathway then leads to a plastic mouthpiece. The flavor has a chemical aftertaste and the vapor does get a little hot on our personal preference. We give this vaporizer a 6/10 for flavor quality. Control. The function and features of the Summit are pretty good. It features 8 temperature settings for you to choose from. It also vibrates when the vaporizer is ready which is nice to help the user remember if they forget that the device is still on. It does have an automatic shutoff in 90 seconds which is a little short for our taste and we wish we can disable this feature. We give a 7/10 for its control. Value. You can pick up a summit for about a $150, which is quite a bargain when compared to other vaporizers in this price range. When we factor in the features for this price point, we give the Summit an 9 out of 10 for its value. Overall Rating. After averaging all attributing ratings, the Summit scores a decent 7.6 out of 10. It's rugged and portable design makes it a good choice for adventurers and outdoorsy people. But it's mediocre battery life and vapor quality might turns others away. That's it! We look forward into doing some testing to see how a vaporizer performs. We believe that this could make a good vaporizer for people looking into taking this vaporizer with them in the wilderness provided you are not too concerned about flavor and battery life.
