Alison Brie and Dave Franco are looking back on the unexpected, rom-com-worthy beginning of their real-life love story. The two met at Mardi Gras in New Orleans, when Alison ran into Dave at the airport while traveling with a friend who happened to know him. That night, a flirty group dinner and a well-timed text set the stage for a spark. And the next morning? Alison made her move: “I did the classic trick, when I did my walk of shame in the morning I ‘accidentally’ stole his perfect white t-shirt.” Things escalated quickly in the best way. Alison visited Dave in New York while he was filming 'Now You See Me', bringing her cover band along for their very first show. At the end of the trip, Dave left a surprise she wouldn’t forget: “I hid a little note in her shoe,” he recalls. Alison adds, “The note had a little drawing of two little stick figures and the Eiffel Tower and said ‘Come to Paris.’” The two actors married in 2017 and now play a couple in their new film 'Together'. “We’ve gotten closer and closer through the work that we’ve done together,” Alison says.
