We on the Grand Guardians team hope you enjoy this first step into our world— where the divine walk the earth and the past is never as simple as it seems. From series co-creator Lydia B. Philips, "GRAND GUARDIANS: Creation Myth" is an indie animated 10-minute short film. Created as both a LCAD experimental animation thesis film, and as a proof of concept/teaser for the larger animated series, Grand Guardians! "GRAND GUARDIANS: Creation Myth" follows scholar, Kira Wolfington (Macy Nicole Williams), as she narrates the story of the creation of her world, the birth of the god-like Guardians, and the cataclysmic war between the mightiest of the gods. The very war that led to the creation of her friend, the Guardian of Fear, Varian (Clayton Michael Walker). Perhaps unravelling the story of where Varian came from will allow Kira to understand her enigmatic companion better. After all, "all stories hold power"...
