The Skeleton Key, a symbol in witchcraft that allows all doors to be opened of not only the real but the surreal as well. At Drunkensailorcocktails it's a symbol of the season, the Halloween season. A new Classic cocktail hailing from Detroit, Michigan is a creation of bartender David Volmer. David created the cocktail while working at the restaurant Roast by Michael Symon. David created it for a halloween cocktail contest, which he did win. While a popular cocktail year round in Detroit as well as surrounding areas, the name and look make it a spooktacular cocktail for your Halloween party. It is a mule style of cocktail with all the flavor and bite you want for this All Hallows Even. So if your skeleton Key is handy join me behind the bar as we give this coctail a stir, "Let's get Pourin!" Remember if you like our cocktails leave us a like and a comment.
