When I first heard “Skin in the Game”, I thought it sounded familiar, so I checked the comments to find most of the people comparing the song to one of her unreleased ones, “Wild Thing”. However, I had a different song in mind mainly because I never listened to “Wild Thing” up until after “Skin in the Game” was released, but it took me a while to pinpoint what that song was. A few days later, I noticed a comment saying that it gave her previous album, “Diamonds & Dancefloors” vibes, and I decided to listen to that album again, and when I got to my favorite track on the album, “Last Night On Earth”, that’s when I realized that it was the song I thought “Skin in the Game” kind of sounds like.
