TW blood, death (people getting shot) "dying would be worse. because it is, isn't it? dying's just worse." -- MASSIVE SPOILERS FOR S5 PLEASE switch on subtitles bc otherwise you can't hear s h i t (honestly the colouring and sound are trash but i just needed to get this out of my system so i can do other things lmao) VIMEO LINK (for blocked countries): https://vimeo.com/309731634 wow this video is a mess but so am i after that series finale tbh ......... also can't believe i'm validating That Ending by making a whole ass video about it but here we are kids! in all seriousness though, Luther has been my favourite show solely bc of Alice Morgan as a character since 2012 and Neil Cross dragged us through a lot tbh but I wanted to commemorate their relationship bc I've actually never just made a straight up Luther video. a lot of it is about how they're two sides of the same coin, how they've saved each other on so many occasions in so many different ways and how much it HURTS that after all they've done for each other, john betrays alice's trust (for absolutely no reason??? lol) I guess the second part of it is lowkey a vent of my frustrations on how the show destroyed all the tenderness and complicated feelings John and Alice had developed for each other over time in literal seconds :))) I feel like I wasn't as emotional about making this video as I expected to be just because so much of what happened in S5 didn't ring true for me but i figured i'd finish it anyway. I'm sure I'll do an angry in-depth rant somewhere else in due time but i hope y'all enjoy (feel free to rant in the comments if you have similar feelings) #fanvidfeed
