This performance is supported by a host of mechanical upgrades, including larger brakes, adaptive suspension with upgraded dampers, and an electronic rear limited-slip differential. The crossover rides on unique 21-inch wheels wrapped in Continental tires, ensuring exceptional grip and control. One of the most innovative features of the EV9 GT is its Virtual Gear Shift system, a technology adapted from Hyundai’s Ioniq 5 N. This system replicates the experience of driving a traditional internal-combustion vehicle by generating artificial engine sounds, simulated gear shifts, and torque cuts. Drivers can even "shift gears" manually using paddle shifters, providing a dynamic and engaging experience. Visually, the EV9 GT distinguishes itself with bold exterior accents and lime-green highlights in the interior. The cabin also features sport seats upholstered in Alcantara, offering a combination of comfort and support. Advanced driver assistance systems come standard, as does a North American Charging Standard port, allowing for compatibility with Tesla Superchargers. Pricing and range have not been announced yet, but the EV9 GT is expected to cost slightly more than the GT-Line AWD’s $75,395 starting price.
