Michael B. Jordan is still in the running to play Superman in an HBO Max series, but it WON'T be Clark Kent. Rather his Superman will be Val-Zod, an Earth 2 alternate version of Superman. This is REALLY interesting, because Jordan told Oprah Winfrey he essentially wasn't interested in a hand-me-down Superman with a race swapped Clark Kent. Meanwhile, Ta-Nahesi Coates still seems set on racebending Kent in his Superman movie.
