Above these inviting lows, you get a strong woody fundamental in the low midrange. Above that, things get gnarly! The upper midrange has lots of bite, snarl, and quack, and it is quite touch sensitive. Ditto for the trebles, which have the capacity to sizzle, scream or wail depending on how hard you hit. Overall, this serial's string-to-string separation is excellent, and it's midrange-forward voice is perfect for rock, blues, and even chuggy metal!
