Hey guys, Today I will explain Bhastrika. Bhastrika Pranayama – The Bellows Breath What it is???? “Bhastrika” means bellows in Sanskrit – like the tool a blacksmith uses to fan the fire. It’s a forceful breathing technique that builds heat, clears the mind, and awakens prana (life energy). How to do it: Sit upright with a relaxed spine. Inhale and exhale strongly and quickly through the nose – belly moves in and out like a pump. Both inhale and exhale are active and of equal length. Start with 10–15 breaths, then rest and breathe normally. Later you may do 3 rounds of 20–30 breaths if you feel balanced. It feels like inner cleansing – energizing yet grounding when done correctly. !!!!!!!!! Avoid Bhastrika if you have: Physical conditions: High blood pressure or heart disease Asthma or breathing disorders Epilepsy Stomach ulcers or recent surgery Mental health: Anxiety, panic disorder, manic or bipolar phases Depression with agitation It can over-stimulate the nervous system and intensify emotional heat. !!!!!!! Pregnancy: Not recommended – creates too much abdominal pressure. Benefits (if practiced safely): Boosts energy and focus Clears mental fog Strengthens lungs and circulation Invokes warmth and clarity Key point: Always practice gently, mindfully, and never to the point of strain. Ah yeah, drawing done by myself. The intro amd outro based on my drawings but animated via AI. Drawings are human creation. ❤️🤗 #englishinstruction #pranayama #breathwork #breathcontrol #bhastrika
