Once opened you get the manual and protective guard in one section separated by card, and the angle grinder, disk fitting tool, reversible handle, mounting flange and clamping nut in the other. The packaging is adequate protection as there is nothing included that is fragile or easily damaged. The manual is multilingual and covers several of the Bosch models so more of an overview covering safety instructions, specifications and identification of parts and not really covering usage in any detail, although this is common with power tools. The grinder does not come with any disks so you would already need the type of disk you intended to use, I gave this a test out with a carbide multi wheel which I find good for nearly all simple and quick cutting tasks with metal, wood, plastic etc. I fitted the protective guard and disk using the tool provided and the locking button on the top of the grinder to hold tight while I tightened the disk in place. The protective guard was a bit stiff at first when adjusting but after a bit of use is quite easy to adjust. I set up to test cutting some screws and nails, and some off cut of wood along with an old metal pipe. The grinder as you would expect is very loud and wearing earmuffs is a good idea especially if using for any length of time. This has two ways of using the power, either pushing and holding the button forward stopping manually by releasing the button or pushing forward and down to lock it in the on position, and releasing by pressing the rear of the button. I found it cut through everything quickly and easily and I had good control with a solid grip on the body, and the option of using the handle to steady also being able to have the handle either side of the grinder. Overall I found this to be a nice powerful tool for quick cutting or grinding jobs that did not require precision cutting. It has cut everything I have thrown it at very quickly and easily, I tested out a grinding disk and that also worked perfectly as well. The protective guard was a bit stiff at first but after a bit of use it is quick and easy to adjust. In my opinion for a simple and quick cutting job this works extremely well, and is nice and solid when using it for grinding.
