Welcome to another car showcase in NFS Heat, this time it's all about the 2018 BMW i8 Coupe and see if it's worth using it or not in Online lobbies. This vehicle made it's introduction in 2011 as a new brand for BMW called Efficient Dynamics, and making it's debut in June 2014 as a 2015 model. Apart from a unique look that differs from the other BMW models, especially the M series. The car features a hybrid engine; for it's combustion engine, it has a B38K15T0 I3 engine making 228 HP and 236 lb.ft of torque; as for it's electric engine, has a hybrid synchronous motor engine making 129 HP and 184 lb.ft of torque. Making a total power of 357 HP and 420 lb.ft of torque, while saving a good amount of fuel (2,1 L/1000 km). Surprisingly, this car is not too bad for being a hybrid car, in fact, it's better than i was expecting; the acceleration is good but not great, top speed is good and the turning radius plus the handling is on par with the best cars in the game like the 911 RSR and the Huayra. Same thing on night time too, you can take this vehicle and smoke some of the toughest cops in the game and get those Ultimate+ parts. In conclussion, this car is the oppossite of the Ferrari 458 Italia; where it sacrifices a bit of the looks for straight up performance on the streets. If you're a good player, give it a shot on the i8, don't let the looks fool you.
