Episode 44 Namaste, We are Shirish and Pooja and Welcome to a "Gudhi Padwa Special (गुढीपाडवा विशेष)" and "Shrikhand Puri" Special Episode of ‪@RedSoilStories‬ The day before "Gudhi Padwa" Pooja went to our friend to get some Buffalo milk to make Shrikhand for Gudi Padwa. She returned home and set the curd (dahi), you can see "how to make dahi" and "how to make chakka" in this episode. She set the curd overnight and on the day of Gudi Padwa in early morning she started preparing for chakka (Hung curd ), In the afternoon when the Hung curd (chakka) was ready, she started preparing for Shrikhand, she has decided to prepare four flavours ofTraditional Shrikhand, For curd made from two liters of buffalo milk she took 400gms for powder sugar to make base of Shrikhand as shown in the video. You can use the sugar according to your taste. For four flavours of shrikhand she took Dry fruit and Cardamom powder for Dry fruit velchi shrikhand, for Kesar pista flavour she added Saffron milk, Pistachio, and cardamom powder, For Mango ( Aamrakhand ) she added alphonso mango pulp in the base of Shrikhand and to make Rose flavor she added rose syrup, rose petals and gulkand. We also performed Puja of Gudi Padwa and Later enjoyed the Lunch with all these types of Shrikhand. Let us know how do you liked it.!
